So many walks!

Hello! We are sorry to report that we did not go on a big adventure on Christmas because some pup (Redford) ate something not good off the street so we could not go on our sleepover! But we still had a nice Christmas visit with family. BUT the next day, Mom left us to go help out at the husky rescue and she walked and walked and walked some more! There was a full house at the facility!

Walk #1

Walk #2

Walk #3

Walk #4

Thankfully, no walk,
just playtime!

And the last pup!

Even getting the "it" toy for pups this year
(Really, google lamb chop) didn't make me
forgive her for abandoning us!

Resting Up!

Things have been very hectic here and we
are exhausted---and we are going to have a
big adventure at Christmas!
So we must get our beauty sleep!

Inside or outside?

I'm so scared of the sound of rain on the skylights
in the house, I must hide under Mom's desk!

But not so scared that I won't lay in my hole outside
in the pouring rain! (and won't come inside!)

The chairs!

This chair is often my headrest
while I am waiting for Mom
to make me dinner!

And these chairs are keeping me
from going upstairs to get at Mom's
sister's cats! But this kitty doesn't
get the concept!

Looking Good!

Hello! I am sitting on my favorite rock at the dog park,
showing off my new red harness! Don't I look snappy?

It's a great day to hang out at the park,
though we do wish some husky weather
would arrive! Still too hot here
on the east coast!

Just to update, Rosie did not hurt her legs. Our vet tell us dogs cannot localize pain, so they limp when they are hurting anywhere? Crazy! Rosie had hurt her neck and could not turn her head to the right at all without terrible discomfort. She is now on pain medication and is feeling much better. And to make sure there is no stress on her neck, she gets this fancy new harness! She will be turning 10 in a few weeks and as we all know, with age comes some aches and pains.

A good walk.

I'm trying to cheer up Mom, lots of
sad stuff going on and Rosie is at
the vet with some trouble with her legs.

The autumn leaves are so pretty and you
have to enjoy the little joys, right?
A nice walk is always good!
