All my kitties, part 3

Here are some pictures of me hanging with my own very special kitty who lives with us. She pretends not to be fond of me but we often find ourselves on the same bed! I give her a little nibble to show her how much I care.

A walk in the woods.

We are so lucky to live a block away from a lovely city park that has a trail in the woods. We love to go walking there, but especially now that it is snowy and very, very cold! All sorts of wildlife are in the park which makes it even more interesting. A few days ago, we even saw some deer!

Nala here! Mom made a resolution that this would be "The Year of Nala" because ever since the puffy one came to live with us, she's been getting all the attention. But since I am getting older and sweeter by the day, it is my time to take advantage of all there is to offer. Extra treats, extra pets and wow, who KNEW that the bed was so comfortable? 

Put away the flashy thing, can't you see I'm snoozing here?

The Land of Squirrels!

Hello! A few days ago we got to visit the Land of Squirrels, the suburb where Mom's sister lives. There are many large trees so, of course, there are many squirrels. And dog level windows to do some observing of how well the Squirrel-proof feeder works!

Our old friend.

We are sad today as our old friend who used to stay with us has passed on. He was a good boy, 15 years old and he had a very exciting life out west before he came to Maryland. And we loved him even though he was far too old for us. The best thing about him was that Mom gave him treats every time she saw him, so we got treats too! He was the best! We will miss him, and not just because of the treats.

Our cousin Opie is visiting for a week and we are all VERY tired. Why you may ask? Well, Opie is scared of loud noises, helicopters and the mailman. And since we live in the city and it was New Year's Eve and the postman has been delivering packages that go BOOM on the porch, she's had lots to bark at. We, of course, have to join in just to make her feel at home. Our Mom wishes we would all just put a sock in it. And pardon the mess, but mom says she's not gonna clean until she is down a dog, so we are shedding as much as possible.
