I did it!

Rosie here! The other day I made a crazy discovery...our house has a basement! There are some VERY scary open stairs that Kiki goes down sometimes, but I was too scared to try, until mom leashed me up and coaxed me down to the basement. Something about needing me to get into a crate so the house cleaners could work?

I'm told that this is where the treats are kept.
(What I wouldn't give for opposable thumbs!)
This floor is nice and cool, and there is all sorts of stuff
around that mom claims she is boxing up to get rid of.
And I got a treat for being so brave! And wait to see how
hard it will be to get me back UP those scary stairs!

I graduated!

Rosie here! I had such fun at obedience school even though I was not very good at responding to commands, because, after all, I am a husky! But I managed to learn a little and had a great time scoring all those treats from mom. And for graduation, we each had to perform a trick. I performed "SHED". That made all my new friends laugh.

All my new friends!

All alone!

Hello! Kiki here! Last weekend our mom went away for one night to go up to New York City to see a Broadway show and to see some art. She left us alone---with only our dog walkers visiting a couple times a day! This was Rosie's first time being left alone for a night. Mom was worried but I did my best to make sure Rosie was okay!

Mom liked the pretty trees
at MOMA!
..and another pretty tree still up at
Rockefeller Center.
But is it reason enough to leave us for sooooo long?
A whole two days???
I'm so lonely and sad. (But at least we could get
the dog walkers to give us extra cookies!)

A new friend!

"I see a new friend Rosie! He is super cute!"
"I see him Kiki and I just want to play with him!"
"Hi! I'm Alfred the Samoyed puppy! Get me outta here
and we could have so much fun!"
Alas, we could not figure out how to undo the gate and Mom would not help us, something about being accused of dog-napping! But we look forward to the day we see that handsome boy again!
