Better late than never!

Last week, winter came for a day and you better believe, we made the most of it! Here are some pictures of our snow day!

"Where is all the snow they predicted Nala? We need more!"
"It's coming Kiki, I'm chewing on this stick while we wait."
"See? 2 hours later, and it's a blizzard!"
"Up to my knees!"

"This day is the BEST!"

But, it is March and the weather can change like that!
Two days later and here is all that is left:

"Oh well, at least we had one GREAT snow day!"

Could it be?

We had a lovely walk yesterday, it felt like spring! You know we love winter, but spring has it's good points—fresh delicious grass to eat, bunnies to chase and longer walks! But, it is March, and they are calling for SNOW tomorrow! Can't wait!

"Snoof, Snoof!
Fresh wild grass smells so good!"
"Especially when one of our friends
has done their business there, hahaha!

"Keep up Nala! I know you are old, but we have so
many things to do, like to find out where the bunnies are!"
"Huh? How did Nala climb the hill ahead of me?
That old gal gets around!"

One more time!

Look what we got for a fleeting moment last week! More of the white stuff! Not nearly enough, but one has to enjoy what they can get...maybe a little more snow is coming tonight, paws crossed!

"Ahhhhh, it's muddy and slushy, but it's still snow!"
"I can't find my delicious grubs under all this!"
"Don't complain Kiki! Just enjoy the chilly goodness!"

Sharing!

Nala here! You all know that we have a feral cat, Scary Kitty, who lives in our back yard most of the time. And why not! Our mom feeds her, makes sure she has water and made her a little shelter from the cold winter nights. But I think Scary Kitty is taking it a step too far. Mom put an old dog bed out on my porch for me so my old bones could be comfortable, and look what happened!

"REALLY? Our inside cats are
never this cheeky and try to share my bed!"
"But she is keeping my foot
warm so I guess it's okay. Zzzzzzz."
