Cutting back!

I am very sad that my mom is taking this dieting thing for me very seriously these days. Instead of my delicious dog cookies, look what I have to eat! It's a travesty.

A carrot?!! Are you kidding me?

Oh well, at least it's crunchy like a cookie.

Hmmm, not bad. Can I try another? And another?

And she is starting to substitute some of my kibble with green beans!
When will it stop? Do your humans make you diet? Send along some better suggestions than the ones my mom is using PLEASE!

Springtime!

It is getting warmer and rainier here in the city and that can only mean one thing that makes me happy---and my mom just a little crazy---MUD! The park near my house and the dog park we visit are a muddy mess. So, after a long winter of frozen ground and staying clean, I am looking forward to digging big messy holes, and tracking all sorts of dirt through the house! Yay!

My feet and belly are super dirty, and the little sticks
stuck in my fluff are an added bonus!

A snowy stroll!

Here in the city, we were supposed to get more snow yesterday, but it turned out just to be cold rain. Sigh. But a week ago we did have some snow and I had a great walk, filled with adventure, before it all melted too quickly...

First, I took a walk around the neighborhood, looking
for pizza crusts or something good to snarf up!

It looks like this snowman had a wild night!

Smells like some of my friends have been here
to check on this poor tilted snowman!

And then I went to my park to enjoy the beauty
and quiet of the new snow. What a lovely walk I had!
