Mud season!

No snow here in the city, just rain and MUD! Mom tries hard to keep us clean, but we are not helping out the cause.

"This is a great place to sit, right, Nala?"
"Yes Kiki, it is the BEST!"

Sneaky!

The other day, mom gave us bones to gnaw on, and of course, I stole Nala's bone and kept it for myself. I'm selfish like that.

"Mmmm, I'll chew my bone and then chew Nala's!"

But then I took a little nap and look what happened!

"Kiki, you can''t nap when there are bones to be stolen!"

A new route!

For a long time, the college near our house was doing construction and had one of our favorite walking routes closed. It reopened this week with a great new addition...an elevated bridge!

"I'm trying to be brave,
but this bridge is very high up!"

"I love it, we're up in the tree tops with the squirrels!
Come closer, little furry grey one!"

"Okay, I get it! I could learn to like
this bridge! Here Squirrel!"

Finally!

It wasn't much, but we finally got some of the white stuff here in the city! And best of all, it is also soooooo cold! Mom is complaining, but we love wind chill in the single digits! Of course, we had to take a walk to the park!

...but look, it's just me, Nala!"

"Hahaha, I wasn't scared for a minute!"

Houseguests!

Happy new year to all our blogging friends! Over the holiday, our cousin was staying with us and needless to say, we were doing our best to be good hostesses, which is really hard. Only a few more days to go, and we have the house and mom back to ourselves!

Out on our walks, we made sure she did not get lost,
and kept our eye on her.

We waited for her if she fell behind,
even though it was so annoying.

And we shared the couch,
which was almost too much to bear.
