A little break...

 Hello! We had to take a week off from our blog as our Mom took a week off and went away without us AGAIN! This time, she went to South Carolina, to a community where her family used to live to see the ocean and to make new friends. 

She stayed in a cottage over a marsh,
meeting a new friend?

This is the friend! An Alligator that came
swimming over every time she called!

Mom loves sea birds, she finds them charming
and very funny!

Here is a pretty low-country marsh that feeds
into the ocean, sometime you can see dolphins!

The deserted beach at sunset is so peaceful,
and it was just what Mom needed.

The last day there, a beautiful sunset
to cap off the week!

And us? After 6 nights at boarding, we can guilt
mom into taking us to the dog park every day!

Visiting!

 Hello! Mom's sister lives close by, so sometimes we are invited to come along to visit too! But, there are kitties in the house, and they usually hide when we come to visit which makes us sad, because we love all kitties! But, the newest kitty, has decided that she won't hide anymore!

Come down and see us little kitty! No need to
get all puffed up, we are friendly!

Where's that kitty? I want to make friends!We need to be
okay if we pups are going to be invited to Thanksgiving!

By the end of the night, peace reigned and we made
a new friend! And got an invite to Turkey Day!

Gotcha Weekend!

Hello! Kiki here! I am celebrating my gotcha weekend---I came to the city on
Labor Day weekend 9 years ago! Here are some pictures from so long ago!

This is right when I got home, look how skinny
and bedraggled I was!

It was hard to get a good picture of me, I was so lively!
I was all of 10 months old!

Nala was so happy to have a new sister,
we played and played constantly! I loved her!

And here I am, a few weeks later, after some good food
and lots of love. It has been a great 9 years!
