So much walking!

Hello! We are wondering if our blogging friends are also getting SO MANY walks these days! We know we are, and we are exhausted! Mom can't get to the pool to work out anymore, so she is upping her number of steps a day to compensate. But who said we needed all this extra exercise?

Maybe if I convince her, that I need to stay here
and hold up this wall, she will let me stay home!
I'm trying to hide!
She can't see me if I can't see her, right?
This pup has the right idea!

A big change!

Hello! Things are certainly very strange here in the city! Our mom has been sent home from her office where she was working on the skeleton crew, and now is working full time from home. We love having her here, but it is very confusing and it is cutting into our nap time, because we are thinking we should be getting cookies ALL THE TIME. And while we were still getting our mid-day walks from our dogwalking service, they shut down too, so we miss our walkers!

"Kiki, I am a little sad with the change in my routine—
and you know us dogs LOVE routine!"
"Rosie, It's OK to be sad, but we are here for
each other, and for Mom!"
We hope all our blogging friends, human and canine,
are doing okay, and staying safe and well!

Helping out!

We hope all our blogging friends are staying safe and healthy. While our mom is sad that she had to cancel her trip to Germany that was coming up---she is helping out a friend that is helping her own family in Florida by looking in on her cats---and, of course, we are glad to tag along! Because, really,  what else is there to do!

Here they are, getting their dinner, and yes, one of the cats
is a tri-ped, but can still jump up on the counter!
And here we are, helping to make sure they
eat every bite of their dinner!

Sharing!

Rosie here! Sometimes when Kiki isn't looking, I like to play with some of her toys.
I really don't play with toys a lot, but one toy she has is irresistible to me!

"Kiki's not looking, and I've got her duck toy!
I want to play with it!"
"Maybe if I don't look at her,
she won't notice I've got her toy!"
"It's okay Rosie, I will allow it this time!"
"Quack, Quack! I love the duck toy, thanks Kiki!"

More friends!

As you all know, Rosie and I are the rare huskies that can tolerate cats. We lost both Delilah and Sasha to illness and old age a few months ago and we miss them terribly. Mom has decided that she doesn't want anymore indoor cats anytime soon, but she does take care of our friend Scary Kitty who pretty much lives on our back porch. We have noticed that Scary Kitty has been spreading the news of what a great place our yard is!

Hello! I may not look like I am hungry,
but it takes a lot of food to live on the street!
Join the party on our porch! All are welcome, especially
if you do a little work and chase the vermin away!
