Happy Autumn!

We hope all our blogging friends are happy about the new season! It has been so rainy around here that we have had a hard time getting our pictures taken with mom holding the leash and the umbrella---so here are a few photos from a few days ago taken when the sun was out!

Here I am looking for one of
my many friends to say hello to!
And here I am, looking
for my favorite delicious grass to snack on!

Out to the ballgame!

Kiki here! Our baseball team, the Orioles, are having a terrible season and no one is coming to the games so since the season is already going to the dogs, they figured, why not invite the dogs! So my mom, and a few friends and ME went to the game!

They had a special section for dogs and their
people. Now where is the hot dog vendor?
The Bird was there and I wasn't scared, even
though it was the biggest bird I've ever seen!
How thoughtful! A special gate just for us
K9s to take a little break to cool off!
I've got my water and a great view! Play Ball!
(Now if I could just score that hot dog!)

Unfortunately, the O's lost again. Maybe they were distracted from all the barking! But I made it onto the jumbotron twice because the cameraman had a little crush on me! (Who could blame him...) It was a very special night!

Sunshine, come back!

Hello! It's been very rainy here in the city, so we thought you might enjoy some old sun dappled photos of us...because these last few days, we are sopping wet all the time, so there's no chance for a nice photo of us! And now, a hurricane is coming, with maybe even more rain?! Our Mom better get more dog towels ready!

"Here I am, enjoying the sunshine and Kiki's
excavation project in our backyard."
"The sun beam is highlighting my snooter!
Look how pretty it is!"

Gotcha Day!

Kiki here with some big news! Nala and I share the same Gotcha day----Labor Day! We know that Labor day weekend is when we both came to be here, Nala all the way back in in 2004 and me in 2011---so long ago. Nala had a rough start, as Mom's home was her 5th home in 2 years. Why all those folks gave her up was a mystery, as she was so sweet! And I was re-homed when I was 10 months old because I was too wild for the family that owned me. Here are some photos of when we were younger and skinnier...

Here is beautiful Nala enjoying
a big blizzard in 2006...
...and here I am enjoying my first trip to an off-leash
dog park in 2011. I am so skinny!
We loved each other so much from the first moment
we met! No matter our age, we always have fun.
