Hello friend?

Hello! Rosie here to tell you about what I thought was going to be my newest friend...Mom wished she got out the camera sooner, as I play-bowed and barked at the husky we encountered on our lunchtime walk!

I said hello, and got no response!
What kind of husky friend are you?

don't ya think? Goodbye!

We're melting!

Here in the city, it is in the upper 90s, so definitely NOT husky weather! We are getting out to walk at 6 AM and then we stay in the house in the AC until after the sun goes down, and then we get our evening walk, and even then, it's still too hot! Make it stop!

I feel pretty!

Hi! Rosie here to tell you that I feel so pretty after my afternoon at the groomer! They gave me a bath and combed out all my excess undercoat! And Kiki? Well, she proved too much of a challenge for the groomer with her snarling and growling. The groomer recommended she go to the vet to have some of her mats shaved off her belly. Mom feels terrible that it got to this point, but she's never had a long haired husky before and Kiki is not exactly, uh, cooperative when Mom tries to comb her. Stay tuned!

Kiki here! You all know how much I love Rosie and I am so glad
I have her as a buddy. BUT she is always trying to touch me, it never stops!

In the hidey hole!
I'm just trying to get some quiet time!

In the park! I'm trying to rest,
doesn't she have somewhere else to be?

And in the kitchen! If she gets a cookie before me,
that will be the last straw!

Taking over!

When we are walking around our neighborhood, we always
encounter a LOT of cats. But this is getting ridiculous!

This a new mural for Killer the cat who was a fixture
in the neighborhood.

And a few block away another HUGE cat! At least this
kitty has some wildlife friends too!

But then we get home and there is a new cat
in our yard! Make it stop! It's too many cats!

Hello! Rosie here.Kiki and I had a big adventure this week...
We went to a new doggie day care!

These pictures are when they tested us to make sure
we got along with other dogs...of course we passed!

You know I like to be on top of things, and
you know Kiki likes to be under things.

We had a great time and made new friends...and Mom was
glad that we had a place to go to play!

Another walk?
