Woo! It sure has been a hot one, but also rainy and humid here. I feel a bit like that myself...inside in the nice a/c (with a sweater on)...outside to warm up and get fresh air (sweater off)...back inside to cool off (sweater back on)...and round and round we go! Stay cool!
Once in a while we see a deer on the trail near our home, but never that close. But many years ago with some of our Angel Sibes, Mom and the dogs came face to face, literally, with a big male deer with quite the rack of antlers. He came out of the brush, unaware Mom and the dogs were there and the same unawareness on Mom's part. He quickly retreated. The dogs were so stunned and he was gone in a flash. Mom said it was freaky crazy.

Oh dear. Who would be a husky on a hot summer's day?
Extending deepest sympathies from a land with a temperate climate.
