Here's a cicada update...they are very, very loud, but the last few days we can tell that the worst of it is almost over. Their exoskeletons are littering the ground and really starting to smell. But if it is only happening every 17 years, we can put up with it! Redford and Rosie like to catch them mid-air (they are terrible random flyers) and those snacks are allowed, but nothing from the ground. And no, Mom didn't eat cicadas, a very creative friend made these "cicada" snacks for a party!

We have never had them here. I think after seeing the state of the world they will not come back for at least another 20.
We had no idea so many could be in one small spot like that!!! those snacks look delish to us. We too love to catch them in the air. We haven't seen or heard any here yet.
AND YES - you two are beautiful!!!
