| The arrival of the Brood X Cicadas! They are just starting to emerge after 17 years. |
Here in Maryland, we are in the epicenter of this, and if it's anything like it was in 2004, the dogs are going to want to scarf them up...like my huskies then loved to do! It's going to be an interesting, stinky, and deafening 6 weeks or so!

Ah, yes, the noisy cicadas! I remember the onslaught in 2004! I was doing a photoshoot down by our river in our previous hometown with - coincidetally - a Forest Ranger, and he gave me a great education on those noisy buggers! In a way, their sounds reminds me of summer! I hope your puppers don't eat too many!
If you need help, we will come and lend a paw or two or three. We love to catch those cicadas midair and then crunch them:)
