A Big Adventure!

Last Monday, our governor announced our stay-at-home order would start a 8pm that night, so we hopped into the car to go to our favorite state park for one last big hike before we were stuck in our neighborhood. Don't worry, we stayed very far apart from everyone!

We figured our fenced dog-park
was already closed...oh well.
We love this trail! Only 3 miles to Kiki's
favorite place!
The stinky stream!
So cold and refreshing!
I don't like to swim because I don't want
to stink up my beautiful silky coat!
It's a long hike back, but it was worth it!
(Rosie is so tired, she is lagging behind!)
Back to the car for a drink and the ride home.
It was the best walk ever!

Oh thank goodness you managed to get in a long walk in your favourite state park before this horrid lockdown business came to your part of the world. And what fun, a stinky stream! Well OK, I don't really like going in water, to be honest, but for a truly stinky stream, I might be prepared to make an exception...
Toodle pip!
Bertie.
PS Gail and I love all your comments on my blog - thank you so much.

All the parks are closed here too, but lots of people are out walking. We hope Mom will be able to take us for some walks before the heat of summer comes.

Mom said to tell you that we are both very good when she lies on the floor to do her exercises. Lightning is afraid of her long pole so he just lies a few feet away. Timber will walk around Mom a couple of times sniffing her hair and wondering what she is doing. But then he just lies next to her legs and waits for her to be done. Mom is very surprised at how well he does.

I think humans are finding walking the dog to be one of the few things they can do that reminds them of like before the Big Shutdown. Maybe you will get lots of them before the country opens again.
