Back to school!

Hello! Rosie here! I have re-started obedience school (we had to stop after one class when mom was injured) and I am doing much better! I finally figured out what "down" meant, which made mom very happy. Anyway, I'm in a class with young dogs, even some puppies, and they all seem to like me lots. We have play-time after class, and while I enjoyed it for a while, I needed to rest, because, after all, I am 5 years old!

This puppy was getting a little, eh, fresh!
Can't you see I am resting here?
You don't give up there, do you?!

Hi Rosie
You are doing brilliantly. 'Down' is a very difficult command for us dogs who are not naturally submissive to learn. It took me ages, back in the day when I attended puppy class. Oh but you have also reminded me what fun I had at the post-class playtime sessions, although Gail seems to remember it differently, having nightmares about the possibility of me actually succeeding in dismembering my nemesis, Dasiy the miniature dachshund...
Ah, happy days.
Toodle pip!
Bertie.

That's a great down, Rosie. We bet you are going to be the valedictorian of your class.
