Anyway, Deliah did get a shot for her cough (and is feeling much better). I got bad news...I gained 7 pounds last year! For even me, that is a far too much! Mom feels terrible, as she probably under exercised me because she was walking Nala and me together up until a few months ago. So now I am on a diet---oh no--and am getting bigger walks---yay! Lets see if I can get a few pounds off now that it is cooler and my walks can be longer!

We see green beans in your future dinners. Mom is doing her best to keep Lightning's weight down as extra pounds won't help that knee. We all get a few green beans in our dinner - Mom says it is good practice in case we get too many extra pounds one day too. We hope Delilah will be feeling better soon.

I gained a pound, too. Fortunately, my vet said I'm still perfect, but my INCREDIBLY MEAN mom says "less treats" for me. Fortunately, since our temps are cooling down, the longer walks ought to be enough. I mean ... who ever heard of less treats?!?!?! That's just cruel. Good luck - we'll get through this together!
