Getting ready!

The 4th of July is coming and Redford is trying out some new hidey-holes:

Hmmm, this one does not offer
great coverage. I must try harder!
I've been told that this is best hidey-hole in the house,
used by most of the pups that came before me! It's perfect!

Construction update!

You all know that huskies love to dig! Kiki, who was here before me, started a big hole Mom called the Tunnel to Siberia. And it seemed only right that I should continue her hard work and keep digging. Mom filled in the original hole and planted flowers, so of course, I just started another big hole!

See? I've displaced all sorts of dirt and am trying out the hole for size!

My goodness, construction is hard work! Time for a little snooze!

New Friends?

Rosie here! Look what I saw on our walk home after
Mom and I dropped Redford at daycare...chickens!

I was mesmerized as I had never seen
poultry before! They looked pretty and eh, delicious!

And here I am, very depressed as I could not bring
one of those tasty chickens home! No fair!

The Competition!

Our mom likes to help animals when she can...
like this cute pup in the overflow facility of the husky rescue!

He's a Pomsky and yes, he is super cute
and needs a home.

And here's Scary Kitty, on our fence after
having the dinner that Mom gave her!

And here I am looking pathetic
so that she will take care of ME!!

Garden time!

It got very hot here in the city, so time to dig a new hole in the
yard, but where to put it? Mom has planted stuff everywhere!

Ahhh, cool fresh dirt from under the lilac bush! It's the only
place in the yard that mom doesn't yell when I dig!

Walk this way!

Mom has been noticing that given the choice,
I prefer to walk on a curb!

You see, I like to keep my pretty paws from
getting dirty or wet, not like that boy Redford!

I am a perfect little princess, maybe a little odd
at times, but what husky isn't, right?
