Kiki, you've been on mom's bed all morning.
This floor is so hard...It's my turn on the bed!

Rosie, you sleep on mom's bed all night, every night.
I should at least get a chance to snooze up here in comfort!

Finally! While Kiki was distracted, I grabbed the bed.
Ahhhh, much better!

Sorry for all the inside pictures, but mom is still not walking us, but should be back walking us in a few weeks. We love our dogwalking service, but we need our walks to be much longer, which is something mom can't wait to do again!

Working from home!

While Mom is healing, her job is letting her have more days to work from home. (She thinks they didn't like to see her limping around!) Anyway, we are glad to have her home and we like to keep her company while she works!

Look! I'm donut-free!
All the better to keep an eye on mom.

When it rains...

Rosie here! I want to tell you that while our mom is making slow but good recovery from her fractured hip, us 4-legged members of the family are falling apart! Look at me in my donut of shame! I was spayed in July, but my spay scar is not healing so I got a donut and some prednisone which is going to make me heal, but mom is worried about the side effects.

Yes, I do look super cute,
but I can't get to my, eh, parts!

And also, Kiki lost a tooth when she tried to take away one of my treats when her tooth got caught on my collar. She's fine but will no longer be so perfect and pretty which is all right with me! AND Delilah went BLIND for a few days with what we now realized was kitty high blood pressure! She's getting better, but has cost mom a fortune in vet bills and medication. And mom wonders why Delilah is so stressed out because all she does is sleep on the counter and wake up to eat!

Sorry Mom, but what else did you have to spend
money on, other than us? Right?

Anyway, we hope this is the worst of it and all of us will feel better soon! Hope you all are fine!

Oh No!

Kiki here to tell you all how sorry I am...the other morning we were walking in the neighborhood and I pulled hard for a pile of cat food left out on the sidewalk for feral cats just as my mom was stepping off a curb. Down she went. Turns out, she has fractured her hip and now cannot walk us for at least 6 WEEKS! Heck, she can barely walk! The only thing that is good about this is our dog-walking service is going to be very busy and make lots of money!

The delicious cat food was not worth not having
Mom be able to walk us in the beautiful fall weather!

Thanks a lot Kiki! Now, mom can't take good care
of us either...we might as well nap.

Trying new things!

Kiki here! My new sister Rosie has not been exposed to a lot. We don't know where she was kept where she lived before at the breeding kennel, but bird and squirrels are VERY exciting to her. And when we went for a walk with our best friend Agnes, Rosie did not know what to make of wading in a stream! Crazy!

"C'mon in Rosie, the water is so cool and refreshing!"
