A special guest!

Kiki here! Our mom loves huskies a little too much, so much so, that when a friend of a friend needed her husky watched overnight, our mom just up and volunteered!  He was a nice 3-year old boy, but I had an issue with him.

Hello! I'm Henry and I want to play
with ALL the toys Kiki!

"You are very cute Henry, but my toys are very special
to me and I do not like to share."

 

 

"I'm staying out of this mess."

Our mom kept the peace and by the end of the visit we were playing together. But with our toys put away, so we didn't really have any choice in the matter, so what else were we going to play with!

Rainy Monday

Kiki here! It's a rainy day, so it's a excellent time to catch up on our snoozing. Nala is in her favorite place to nap, and she's got a little extra company.

"Scary Kitty, you are really taking advantage of
our hospitality. This is MY pretty blue porch"

And while Nala is on the back porch, I though I would take advantage of my opportunity to nap on her bed—with her old bones, she has a orthopedic bed underneath a regular bed!

"She's not using it right now,
and it is SUPER comfortable!

Where's Mom?

Where could she be? We looked this way...

...and then we looked that way. No Mom.

We were suffering from a serious lack of treats while our Mom was away for few days. How dare she leave us? She's back now, but watch out, we will make her walk us for MILES and give us TONS of treats just to make up for this mistreatment.

So close!

We were walking this morning and what did we see? It's brown, fluffy and looks delicious! Here's a clue:

"You see it Kiki? The Bunny!"
"If only I wasn't attached to our pesky human,
I would get it for you Nala!"

"Rats! Foiled again!
We'll get you someday Bunny!"

C'mon, let's walk!

"The park couldn't be prettier---
join us for our favorite daily walk!"

"I have to wait for my sister Nala at times...she lags
behind, enjoying all the lush green smells."

"I'm coming Kiki! Sometimes, you have to stop
and smell the roses---or other things, hahaha!"

Ah, springtime!

"I can smell it in the air!"

"I'm on it too Kiki, we will find the best thing about spring!"

"Bunnies! Now where could they be hiding?"

Yawn.

Kiki here! These last few days, my sister Nala has decided that she is is getting a little too old to climb the stairs to go upstairs to sleep. I like to sleep upstairs, but I like to be with my sister more. So I stay with her and keep an eye on her---and to make sure she doesn't get any extra cookies!

"You doing okay Nala? Just checking..."
"I'm okay Kiki, but you woke me up again!"

And speaking of new places to sleep, look where Delilah is sleeping these days!

"A basket on top of the kitchen cabinet is an excellent
place to snooze and to keep an eye on all those darn huskies!"
