Downtime!

Unfortunately, our mom is going into a super busy time for her stupid work, so we—and our little blog—will be sadly neglected.

Sigh, I'm already depressed.
At least we will get some good napping in!

I have my good friend Squeaky Dragon to keep me
company—which is more than I can say for our mom.

A Great Holiday!

You know how we were all sad that all our snows had melted? Well, we got the BEST gift this President's Day----more SNOW! We are the luckiest pups ever!

Ahhh, welcome back all my snow!
I missed you!

C'mon, come play with me little ones!
I will pull your sleds!

It's all supposed to turn to rain and ice in a few hours, so we made mom stay outside for hours, which is of course how she wanted to spend her day, right, mom?

All my snow!

Nala here to tell you the story of all my special snow. The big blizzard we had was the BEST and it left so much snow in our little backyard. The picture below is a little dark because my favorite time to enjoy my snow was in the evenings after a long day of walking!

Mom was so nice to dig me a little hole---so cozy!

After a few days of warmth, my snow pile was receding, but I would not stop enjoying it's frozen goodness!

But alas, all good things must come to an end, which is what happened to my snow. Here is a picture of what is left. It breaks my little husky heart.

More snow!

No, we didn't have any more snow, but here are some more photos of our BIG storm the other day! It's starting to really melt now, which makes us sad but our mom a little happier! Here's why:

This was mom's car. (It's dug out now, and the humans
on the street had to dig out the whole street...no snowplow!)

This was such a great walk,
with the wind and snow in our fur! Ahhhhh!

So much fun!

Here in the city, we had a massive snowstorm that was the biggest snow total ever! 29.2" was the official measurement! We are just calling it the best day ever! We have lots of pictures as you can imagine, so we may do a few posts in the next few days as our mom isn't going anywhere anytime soon, unless she is using us as a sled dog team! Here is our day in a few shots!

the park. I had to stop and admire the beauty of it all!"

Here in the city, we are in the bullseye of the big storm! Our mom says she has dog food, cat food, and a new box of wine, so bring it. (We think she should also make sure she's got her snow boots ready, cuz this is what we were born for! Woohoo!)
