Scaredy cats.

Yup, that us. Usually I am the only one who is scared when big thunderstorms come. But this week, we had such huge booms that both Nala and I were getting into our living room hidey hole. 

"If I cuddle up to my sister Nala, I will be safe, right?"

"I don't know if you will be safe Kiki,
but I am not moving from my hidey hole!'

Bored, bored, bored.

Our Mom is sadly neglecting us again because of her stupid work, so all we can do is nap and hope she notices us and our needs soon.

"Sigh, I am so depressed."

"Even my toys bring me no joy.”

It's a line-up!

Our cousin Opie was staying with us a few days ago and our mom got a shot of three pups in a row (in a rowhouse, of course!)

"How come Opie gets a
bed and we have to lay on the
cold hard floor?"

It's that time of year, when the grass is fresh and delicious and Kiki and I do our best imitation of cows!

The other day our mom took us to the dog park so I could be off leash for a change and I took it upon myself to dig a nice hole. Nala was playing with her tennis ball while I enjoyed the nice cool dirt.

"Ahhhh, the dirt is so nice and cool
on my overheated tummy!"

Then I went off to check out another dog friend and look what had happened while I was not playing attention! Nala took advantage of all of my hard work!

"This IS a nice hole Kiki! I am enjoying it so!"

In need of...

...A belly rub! We don't know if it is a husky thing but both of us sleep a lot on our backs and love a good belly rub! Our mom has been super busy with her stupid work (but we do enjoy the expensive kibble and delicious treats that hard work buys for us) but she always makes time each day to give us some tummy-rubbing action. And really, how could she resist---just look at us and our furry cuteness!

"Mom, could you move the pillow

Kiki here! In the city, when springtime comes, all the kitties finally emerge from their homes and hiding places to say hello to me! I love all kitties, but most of them are a teensy bit wary of my offers of friendship. But I will win them over, it's what I do best!

"Hi Kitty! C'mon over, Nala and I won't bite!"
"Speak for yourself Kiki, I might!"

"See, we can all live in peace!"
