It's Mine!

I love the new turkey toy!
I got it as a gift on thanksgiving and I love it!

But I love it more! And since I never play with toys
but seem to love this one, it's MINE!

So sleepy!

Hello! Here are more pictures from our big adventure at the beach in South Carolina! We had so much fun and hope we can go again next year! 

Wow! Low tide means
a LOT of beach! Let's get walking!

I do not care to wade in the surf like
Redford, but I love to stroll on the beach!

Early morning is the prettiest time
for a walk on the beach!

And here is our dolphin friend!
He got very close to shore to say hello!

We walked all over, looking at the trees
and searching for deer! There were lots!

The live oaks with the
Spanish moss were so lovely.

Here we are with our collie cousin,
barking at golfers as they passed by!

And after all that walking, we had a nice rest
with Mom on the couch at the rental house
(she brought a sheet because we are VERY furry!)

Our Adventure!

After 11 hours in the car,
we ended up here!

But where are we?
We haven't got a clue.

Wow! That's the biggest water dish ever!
And kind of stinky---in a good way!

We are baffled as we have never
seen the ocean before!

I think I will like it here! Just as long
as I don't drink this salty water!

We will post more photos of our adventure in the days ahead, but needless to say Rosie and Redford loved their first trip to South Carolina, though we were not expecting it to be so warm---not husky weather at all!

We are headed out on a BIG adventure in the next
few days! We can't wait! But first, a long car ride
to our destination. And we will lay down at
some point so Mom can see out the back window!

Mom was looking after some new huskies in the rescue and they just brought in a boy from North Carolina who looks just like me! We hope he gets a home soon, because mom does not want a matching pair, no matter how cute he is!
