The worst day of the year.

Yes, it was bath day this weekend, the sun was out, the hose was hooked up
and we were kind of stinky. It was just terrible.

"How was your bath Kiki? I thought I'd be exempt
this time because I am so old but nooooo, I got a bath!"
"My bath was just terrible too, Nala. Look at my wet fluff!"

"Let's make Mom pay for this! You know what to do Kiki!"
"I'm on it, Nala...the plan is to go roll on mom's bed
with all this wetness!"

I see you!

Kiki here! You know I like to find kitties on my walks, and I am so good at it,
that I can even find kitties in all the kind of places!

"I see you kitty! Even though you are under glass,
I could still find you!"

"Hisssss! How did she do that? I was hiding so well!
I even had leopard camouflage!"

Ready for my close-up!

Nala here! My sister always gets all the attention on our walks because she is so cute and puffy. But the other day, while I had mom to myself, it was time to show everyone how lovely I am! We hope you enjoy my pretty pictures!

A beautiful morning.

We are grateful for the beautiful morning—enjoying the park and all of our friends.
And on this day, we are grateful for those who gave their lives
in service to our country.

After the rain!

Here in the city, it had been raining for a week! But yesterday, the sun finally came out and we took a leisurely walk (versus a fast walk in the deluge) in our park! We were glad that our mom was happy that we—herself included—were not soaking wet for a change!

"Wow, the grass and the weeds got huge! Now where is
my patch of special delicious grass?"

"I'm just happy to be back in my special place to lay down
in the park and not be in a mud puddle!"

Overrun!

Our last post was all about the cute kittens our mom visited, but heck,
we are clearly overrun with cats already around our house!

Cuteness competition.

It is kitten season in the city and one of our mom's friends always fosters a litter or two and asks folks to come over and play with the kittens to get them socialized. Mom took some photos of the little 4-week old kittens...and we think she enjoyed herself a little too much!
