Herding cats.

Happy New year to all our blogging friends! The new year has been a little crazy around here for our Mom. Not only is she watching our cousin Opie for 2 weeks, our friend Agnes is staying for a few days also! Needless to say, our mom is not coordinated enough to walk 4 dogs at a time so this is how our walks shake out:

"Us older gals go first!"

"We go further than the young ones,
so we deserve a little rest!"

"We may be the second string,
but we have no time to pose when we are strolling!"

Dinner time is far less organized:

"This is where the "herding cats" thing comes in,
right, Mom?"

Our wish for the season!

Wishful thinking here on the East Coast! Oh well, Happy Christmas from Kiki and Nala!

All mine!

Before the cleaning service comes once a month, our Mom has to clean for them...well, not really clean, just pick up so they can clean. I have lots of toys, but my favorite thing to do EVERY DAY is to take all my bones—and my squeaky ball—out of the basket to admire them. So, it makes for a little extra work for Mom to find them all throughout the house.

I don't usually line them up,
I think Mom is trying to make a point.

Well, they are here,
so I might as well chew on them!

We’re thankful!

"Hey Nala! What are you thankful for?"

"This bewootiful day, this nasty tennis ball and you, KIki!"

We hope all our friends had a nice thanksgiving and are excited for the chilly days ahead!

What! All that for nothing!

Kiki here to tell you that things did not go too well for me at the vet when I had my annual check up. Turns out my year-long slimming diet was useless! I GAINED 2 more pounds. But I'm sure it's just all my fluffiness, don't you agree?

"Please, I cannot do another year of dieting!
I need treats!"

Anyway, here is a picture of the elusive cat that lives with us. She lives in a chair and runs away when anyone comes to the house. So up until now, our Mom and the vet were the only people who have seen her this year...and now YOU get to see her!

"Haha Kiki, the vet says I am a perfect weight!"

A lovely walk.

There is a path right near our house that is so lovely this time of year. There are all sorts of critters and even sometimes we see some deer—right in the middle of the city! Though we spend most of our time looking for our favorite prey—squirrels!

"None here Kiki, any of our
grey furry friends down your way?"

"I'm looking Nala!
But I am distracted by all this prettiness!"

So Pretty!

"Is Mom refering to us or the pretty tree, Nala?"
"Who cares Kiki, let's keep walking!"
