Grrrrrrrrrrrr.

Don't be scared my pretty.
Nala here! You don't hear from me much because the fluffy one gets all the attention because she's so darned puffy. So, every once in a while, I need to show her who actually is the boss. So I make her move her fluffy butt and wrestle with me and my sharp canines. Not so pretty anymore, eh Kiki?

Our very special guest.

Yeah, she's cute, but not a cute as me.
This is a picture of "Dog", our very special guest of one night. Poor girl found her way to the Baltimore animal shelter and was released to rescue after her stray hold was up. She stayed with us for one day and night and then our Mom drove her to meet her new foster Mom. She was very cute and very happy to be out of the shelter. We played for a bit but then she got over excited and started to fight with me, so into the crate she went. And boy, she was not happy about that. I only wish I could do the Siberian death scream that loud! Good luck to you "Dog"! We know you will find a good new home.

Yes, I'm a scaredy-cat.

Let me know when it's safe to come out.
It's been a tough few weeks for us huskies here in the city. The 4th of July is very scary with all the booms and bangs. And now there are thunderstorms! So I'm spending my days hiding under the bed, just me and the dust-bunnies to keep me company. My big sister Nala doesn't even care about all the noise. I guess she just uses her special husky selective hearing!

Everything is mine!

This toy is mine and your bed is mine. Deal with it.

Kiki here...Our cousin Opie is staying with us for few days and she's okay but she is scared of thunder, firecrackers, the mailman and helicopters. And since it's been stormy, tomorrow is the fourth of July, and we live in the city, she's had a lot to bark at. You'd think I could be nice to her and let her have some toys to play with and her bed to sleep on to make her feel better, but if it's in my house, it belongs to me.

Summer and sled dogs

Too hot to play, let's just sit here and look stunning, eh?
It is summer here in Baltimore and it is hard being a northern breed this time of year. We still go to the dog park to see our friends—check out our handsome malamute buddy—but after just a little round or two of zoomies, we settle in and do our best cow in the pasture imitation. It's tough being so fluffy, but one must suffer for beauty.

Where is everyone?

We're here. Where are our friends?
Nala and I are so lucky to live right next to a beautiful park. We get up early every morning and head down to the park to meet up and play with our doggie playmates. Sometime we get up too early and have to wait and wait and wait. Our Mom wishes we would, for once, sleep in. Sorry, sun's up, we're up! Which is more than we can say for our friends!

I love my friend!

You are in my chair! You must pay!
Kiki here! Don't I look so excited in the picture? Last week, my best friend (well, other than my sister Nala) Aggie stayed with us while her Mom went home to Scotland. I made sure Aggie did not have a minute to miss her Mom because she was so busy playing bitey-face with me every waking hour. You see in the foreground, my mom missed a LOT of sleep while we played on her head on her bed starting everyday at about 4 AM, so she needed to drink LOTS of coffee to stay awake. And when Aggie went home, I slept for a few days just to catch up on my snoozing, as did my Mom and Nala. I think we are caught up now, just in time for my cousin Opie to come and stay. Opie barks a LOT. Mom says, oh joy.
